Blathers, Blathers Everywhere
Mostly stuff I follow, but occasionally some of my own.

I hate those moments when a moderately perplexing instance that should resolve itself with a logical solution decides to exacerbate itself into a brain-bending conundrum that requires me having to verify my logic with another human just to make sure I’m not putting myself into a pickle.
(Tldr: Phone cards, enough of your monkey business.)
guys there is this thing
it’s pretty great
it’s called reverse image search
see what you do is you go here
and you drag your unsourced image and drop it into the search bar
like wow what a hot piece of art, how am i ever going to find the source for this with my unlimited internet…

So, day turned to suck in the last ten minutes of it; which of course amplifies it to the extreme. It turned around some after I talked to some friends but I was still feeling the ‘blah’s.
As I’m driving, I think to myself: ‘Man. If my copy of <E. is here today, that would be like…a cosmic hug and pat on the back for sure…but if it isn’t, I’ll live.’
So I greet the mailbox, key in hand; and I’ll be damned if that manilla-covered envelope that just fit flat inside didn’t bring a Totoro-grade grin to my face. I had to remind myself NOT to stand there in the rain and open the mail, as I was parked just off the street at the boxes (with traffic passing by). Got in the car, feeling the good day vibes coming back, full power in the five-hundred foot distance to my parking space and up the two flights of stairs to the apartment.
And I must confess that after opening one envelope (the second setting my brain on ‘a box in a box in a box in a box’ ad nauseum), flipping through to the lovely drawing of Teej in the back…I squeaked…like a small, excited rodent. I am not ashamed (well maybe a little, but it was worth it).
Thanks, EK! <3
